International Development Enterprises – Cambodia http://www.ideorg.org/ is the 2010 winner of the Nestle Prize in Creating Shared Value. The Prize is awarded to an individual, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) or a business for developing an innovation that:
- has proven its worth on a small-scale;
- is judged feasible and applicable on a broader scale or in other communities;
- is built on a sound and sustainable business model; and
- has high promise of improving the lives of farmers and rural communities, delivering high nutritional value to populations suffering from nutritional deficits, or improving access to and management of water.
